I know that in my animated form of expression I can exaggerate a bit from time to time, but this is no exaggeration. I THINK THAT CHIPOTLE PUTS CRACK IN THEIR BURRITTOS! That’s the only theory that makes sense to me. My sister introduced these burritos to me maybe a good four or five years ago when I visited her. After my first hit, I called a few people up and shared my experience. I even looked for the locations to determine where the nearest restaurant to me was so that I could get it when I returned home. I marveled at the ginormous size, the perfectly seasoned meats, the flavorful beans, and the pièce de résistance, the guacamole. Now it very well may be that the crack is in the guacamole because I have yet to ever have a burrito without it.
I know, I know… I’m being a bit dramatic, but this addiction is real. There have been times when I have traveled out of my way after work to pick up this delightful deliciousness three times in one work week, which is only five days! I can’t wrap my head around why I would do this other than the fact that they must sprinkle in a dash of crack while seasoning.
And I’m not alone. It is my belief that everyone who tries it is addicted as well. I have hypothesized this based on the fact that every time I go to the restaurant, no matter what day of the week or what time of day, it is absolutely packed. There has never been an occasion when I’ve walked directly up to the glass to place my order.
Case and point:
With all of that said, the point that I am trying to make is: In my pursuit of a healthy happy honest life, I have realized that I am addicted to Chipotle burritos. I’m not sure of how healthy they are, but they sure do make me happy, and that is honest.
